# Brazilian Baile Funk Digital Flyer

> In the three inspected Design Brabo templates, a portrait-format feed flyer (1080x1440 or 2000x2500) where a trio of cut-out performers overlaps large 3D-extruded BAILE FUNK lettering, lit by neon and stage light (orange confirmed on one template; red, graphite and blue-purple only from titles) with chains behind. Lower copy is editable text. The palette is estimated, and the idiom is provisional, from one vendor.

- Period: 2026–present
- Where: Latin America & Caribbean
- Origin: Brazilian digital event promotion for funk parties, as sold in editable PSD templates. The music itself, funk carioca, began in the mid-1980s in Rio de Janeiro's favelas (Wikipedia, 'Funk carioca'); this entry covers only its portrait-led social-media flyer. The anchor is the Brazilian template publisher Design Brabo, whose Flyers category lists baile funk assets from May to August 2026. These are commercial templates with placeholder content, so they are not evidence of a first workshop or of any real event; 2026 marks the earliest dated sample inspected, not the start of funk party graphics.
- Branch: Digital native
- Also known as: Flyer de baile funk, Flyer funk, Baile funk social-media flyer

## Use it with care

Baile funk is a living Afro-Brazilian favela culture with a long history of stigma and police repression, so do not use these flyers to caricature favelas, weapons or crime. Do not show real people, MCs or DJs without their consent, and do not imply that placeholder figures in templates are real artists. The evidence here is commercial templates from one publisher, so treat this as a provisional idiom and check it against flyers made by funk producers and promoters before leaning on it. Respect the template licences, which do not allow redistribution. The template figures may be stock or AI-generated, and promoters' own funk flyer culture (hand-made, shared on WhatsApp and Instagram, led by MC names) is not represented here, so this entry may misrepresent the tradition's actual visual culture.

## How it works

- Cut out the performers and stack them in front of the title: give a group of two or three figures confident poses, overlapping the lettering so people and name read as one block.
- In the inspected templates, make the event name the loudest object: set BAILE FUNK or the party name in heavy, extruded 3D capitals large enough to fill the width of the post.
- Light the scene as a stage: in the inspected templates, neon and stage light (orange, red or blue-purple, the latter two from template titles) over a dark ground so figures and letters glow.
- Drop in the street and the sound system as props: chains, stage lights and an urban backdrop show where the night happens (speakers appear as a tag on one template).
- Keep logistics small and editable: put names, venue, date and contact in a compact lower band of live text layers, so the organiser can reuse the template for each event.
- Design for the feed first: a portrait frame that reads at phone size, with one focal group and a few words.
